PUBLISH YOUR FAMILY TREE ONLINE...

As a member of Knottingley Family History you now have the opportunity to publish your own family tree online. Using the same software that is currently being used to compile the primary Family Tree inside our Knottingley Family History Database members area, you can now build your own family tree online right here, including as much information and as many photographs and documents as you wish.

You will have full control over your family tree and if you wish you can also nominate a friend or relative to work on your tree with you. Your tree can be viewed by other members who are able to suggest additions or amendments that you might wish to make but no-one other than yourself or any nominated friend or family member can edit or add to any of your information.

You can begin compiling your family tree immediately although you might wish to take some time becoming accustomed to the software first. A family tree is a complicated array of cross-linked information which means it can become somewhat confusing at times when entering additional details. However, don't worry too much, there is an help file available and in addition I will be showing you how to carry out the basic tasks. You'll quickly get the hang of it.
